Input Set Up
The ASP.4 arrives with both balanced and unbalanced inputs. The balanced inputs are connected to the system with a wired snap in connector. If this connector is installed, the unbalanced input will not function properly. Let us know how you would like your system set up. If you choose unbalanced, we'll include the wired connectors so you can use the balanced inputs later if you choose.
Mean Well Power Supply Adaptor
By far the most straightforward way to power the ASP.4 is to use the Mean Well GP50A14E-R1B that supplies +/- 15 volts through the DIN connector. This supply can be used nearly anywhere in the world and does not require dealing with dangerous voltages. The number of components required on the power PCB is minimal and the overall cost is low while the performance is good.
